How a mountain wedding changes the plan
Temperatures, evening layers, coach access and accommodation become more important. The landscape may give you shade and atmosphere that the coast cannot, but suppliers may travel farther and hillside routes can be difficult for some guests. Inspect the actual walking route, not only the view.

Frequently asked questions
Are Cyprus mountain venues cooler than the coast?
They can be, particularly later in the day and outside summer, but conditions vary by altitude and date. Use the local forecast and venue guidance.
Can guests stay nearby?
Some venues have substantial rooms; wineries and event estates may not. Map realistic accommodation and late-night transport before booking.
Can we have a civil ceremony in the mountains?
Potentially, but the relevant authority must approve the location and procedure. A chapel or beautiful outdoor space does not automatically mean a legal civil ceremony is available there.
