Liopetro
Liopetro is a family-owned venue created from two old stone farm buildings in Kouklia. Its official site presents Aphrodite Circle, Zeus Square, Adonis Gardens and the nearby 12th-century Panagia Odigitria church, followed by cocktails and dinner within the same gated country property.
Best for: unmistakably Cypriot materials, gardens and history rather than a hotel backdrop. Check: ceremony-space capacity, current food-and-beverage minimum, music finish, accessibility and transport from Paphos hotels.
Official Liopetro website →Paliomonastiro
Paliomonastiro means “old monastery”. The family-run venue offers a main ceremony area with hill and sea views or an open-air setting beside Ayia Paraskevi Church. Traditional touches can include fresh loukoumades, bourekia and Cypriot dancers.
Best for: a celebration rooted in local hospitality and tradition. Check: current capacity, ceremony requirements, weather plan, finish times and which planning, catering and entertainment services are optional.
Official Paliomonastiro website →Alassos
Ktima Alassos is an outdoor-focused private venue between Paphos and Coral Bay. The official venue journey moves from a ceremony lawn overlooking the sea to a shaded reception garden, dinner under the stars and dancing beneath fairy lights.
Best for: a complete private outdoor wedding with the sea in view but no hotel atmosphere. Check: current capacity, covered contingency, exclusivity, sound limits and supplied furnishings.
Official Alassos website →Coral Residences
Coral Residences deserves separate consideration from Cap St Georges. Its dedicated event site lists an Upper Area, seafront Clubhouse and beach, with recommended seated capacities up to 150; the larger Arena is at the sister resort.
Best for: private beach or sea-view celebrations strongly connected to the coast. Check: included area, beach access, wind fallback, surface accessibility and transport.
Official Coral Residences information →Eléa Estate
Eléa lists six ceremony and reception spaces, one wedding per day and receptions of up to 180 guests; its FAQ describes options from 20 to 280 depending on the space. The course, lake and Mediterranean views create a country-estate atmosphere close to town.
Best for: landscaped photographs, privacy and clear package information. Check: space-specific capacity, golfer visibility, current pricing, finish conditions and hotel transport.
Official Eléa Estate information →Vasilias Nikoklis Inn
This restored family-owned inn offers a garden, courtyard, carob-tree reception area, pergola dinner terrace, poolside dance area and eight double rooms. Its FAQ publishes a 20-to-120 guest range and places it roughly 17 kilometres from Paphos town and 7 kilometres from the airport.
Best for: a warm country-house wedding with some guests staying on site. Check: rooms, transport, seasonal dates, midnight finish and food-supplier rules.
Official Vasilias Nikoklis information →OZEA
OZEA hosts one wedding at a time for 20 to 250 guests. Ceremony, drinks, dinner and dancing take place at one sea-facing address, supported by bridal and honeymoon suites.
Best for: a polished private coastal day without venue transfers. Check: package scope, accommodation, transport, deposit schedule and supplier flexibility.
Official OZEA website →Minthis
Minthis combines a 12th-century monastery setting, herb garden, golf landscape, Clubhouse and indoor restaurant—an architectural alternative to Paphos’s coastal venues.
Best for: design-conscious countryside weddings with resort support. Check: ceremony permissions, walking distances, transport and rain plan.
Official Minthis events page →L’Château
L’Château describes a private country-house venue with courtyards, olive-lined gardens, hillside and sea views, planning support and celebrations from two to 150 guests.
Best for: an intimate private-estate feeling. Check: transport, finish time, inclusions and how spaces scale to your number.
Official L’Château website →Anassa
Anassa’s venue collection spans terraces, gardens, restaurants, Village Square, ballroom and an after-party space. The resort says it hosts one wedding at a time.
Best for: a secluded luxury weekend with strong indoor backup. Check: transfer time, room commitment, minimum attendance and finish times.
Official Anassa wedding page →Elysium
Elysium offers a full five-star hotel operation with spa, restaurants and indoor and outdoor facilities. Its town location gives guests independent accommodation and dining choices nearby.
Best for: a polished hotel wedding with a straightforward guest base. Check: private-use boundaries, minimums, public access and music limits.
Official Elysium wedding page →Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort
Cap St Georges lists the Arena, Panorama and indoor rooms alongside resort accommodation. The Arena is published for up to 250 seated or 600 standing guests.
Best for: larger weddings or multi-event weekends needing resort scale. Check: wedding-specific spaces, privacy, supplier terms and sound restrictions.
Official Cap St Georges events page →Kefalos Beach Tourist Village
Kefalos lists pool-view spaces, La Pergola, a lagoon-pool area and an indoor hall, supported by hotel catering and a wedding specialist.
Best for: a relaxed hotel format. Check: capacity and privacy by space, music limits and municipal requirements.
Official Kefalos wedding page →How to build a sensible viewing list
Do not view thirteen venues. Choose one style first, then inspect two or three serious candidates. A country inn, a private coastal venue and a five-star resort solve very different problems; comparing them only on price or photographs obscures what you are buying.
- Map each venue from the hotel area guests will use.
- See the real covered fallback, fully set for your number.
- Request itemised proposals using identical guest counts and timings.
- Confirm ceremony legality separately from whether a venue can stage one.
- Compare finalists at approximately your wedding time.
